LOCATO reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice.
The use of GNSS, RTK, and CORS-based positioning systems may be subject to regulations in India and other jurisdictions. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, licenses, and permissions before using LOCATO products or services. LOCATO shall not be held responsible for misuse of equipment or services in violation of government regulations.
GNSS receivers, LiDAR systems, and UAV payloads require skilled handling and correct setup. Improper installation or usage can cause inaccurate results, signal loss, or equipment damage.
Users must follow all safety guidelines provided in the product manuals.
For UAV-related operations, the customer must comply with DGCA regulations in India or equivalent aviation authority rules in other countries. LOCATO does not take responsibility for unlawful UAV operations.
3.1 No General Warranty
All LOCATO products are supplied “as is” unless otherwise specified in a written warranty policy. Performance is subject to environmental conditions, correct setup, and user expertise.
3.2 Faulty Items
If an item is found to be faulty due to a manufacturing defect, LOCATO may repair or replace the item at its sole discretion after proper inspection. Faults arising from user misuse, improper handling, or third-party modifications are not covered.
3.3 Liability Limitation
LOCATO is not responsible for:
Loss of survey data or project delays caused by equipment malfunction
UAV crashes, signal disruptions, or mapping inaccuracies due to improper use
Any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services
LOCATO makes every effort to keep product specifications accurate and up to date. However:
Specifications, availability, and pricing may change without notice.
Images shown on the website may differ from actual product designs.
Product descriptions take precedence over images.
Returns are only accepted for manufacturing defects, subject to inspection.
Customers must notify LOCATO within 7 days of receipt of any defective item.
Products damaged due to mishandling, improper use, or unauthorized repairs will not be eligible for return/replacement.
For electronic items (GNSS receivers, boards, etc.), replacement is only processed if an unboxing video and proof of defect are provided.
6.1 Carriers
LOCATO uses reliable logistics partners (DTDC, BlueDart, DHL, etc.) for shipping. Once the package is handed to the courier, LOCATO has no control over delivery timelines.
6.2 Address Requirements
A valid and complete shipping address must be provided. Orders may not be shipped to temporary locations such as hotels or PO Boxes unless pre-approved.
6.3 Tracking & Loss
Tracking information will be shared upon dispatch. LOCATO is not liable for courier delays or lost shipments unless additional shipping insurance was purchased.
6.4 Backordered Items
Orders containing out-of-stock products may be delayed until stock is available. Partial shipments are at LOCATO’s discretion.
CORS subscription services require stable internet connectivity. LOCATO is not responsible for user-side connectivity issues.
Accuracy depends on field conditions, device compatibility, and proper configuration.
LOCATO reserves the right to suspend or terminate services in case of misuse, non-payment, or violation of regulations.
Payments must be completed through approved payment gateways or bank transfers.
B2B customers with a valid GST number will receive a GST credit invoice (if provided at the time of purchase).
Payment gateway charges may apply in case of cancellations or refunds.
By using LOCATO products or services, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless LOCATO, its employees, and partners from any claims, damages, or losses arising from misuse or unlawful operation.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Kerala, India.
